The M2 was an American half-track originally designed as an artillery tow. It was first used in 1941 and saw action in the Philippines, North Africa and Europe.
The M2 had two crew and could carry 7 passengers. It had a maximum speed of 45mph. Some 13,500 M2 and variants were built.
The M2A1 variant had an improved M49 machine gun mount ring over the front right seat. It could also carry up to 3 0.30 machine guns in the rear section.
This version has a non-removable canvas cover and a front gun cover.
